About this event

The Eight Pieces of the Silk Brocade Workshop

with Lee Holden In-Person and Streaming Live Online in HD

Intention is an energy, a force like gravity that influences the world around us.

It’s one of the most common forms of Qi Gong, and the name refers to how the eight individual movements grant the user a silken quality to their body and energy.

Also known as Baduanjin Qi Gong (八段錦), the form is mainly used to improve health and longevity… but some people believe the style came from the Chinese folk hero General Yue Fei.

It is said the General created the form as an exercise for his soldiers to help them keep their bodies strong and prepared for battle. While many of us do not face the rigors of battle our ancestors faced… we do face battles of spirit, mind, and health.

In the Eight Pieces of the Silk Brocade Workshop taught by Lee, you’ll learn how to use all eight movements in the form to fortify your health, cleanse your body of toxins, and “smooth” your Qi.
