It is a free five-day journey called The Art of Letting Go. Lee filmed five brand-new classes outdoors in the Redwood Forest in Santa Cruz, on the theme of the fall season: letting go of the old to make room for the new. Each day includes a short practice of breath and simple movement. You can learn more here. Registration opens on September 25th.
The challenge runs October 4th to the 9th and takes place in the new learning platform so we can all do the movements and reflect on the experience together. Registration opens September 25th. Each day you can join a live practice session at 10 a.m. Pacific, or practice on your own schedule.
No. The Qi Challenge is completely free.
The rest of this page answers common questions about the new platform Lee mentioned in the video.
The short version: starting Wednesday, September 23th, all video class subscription members will get an invite to join the new learning platform and community. Everything included in the subscription will also be available in a new, modern learning platform, in addition to where you access it today. You are not losing anything, and you do not need to move anything yourself. You are getting extra access, new bonuses, and a better overall experience.
If you take part in the Qi Challenge, you will also get free access to the Video Class Subscription in the new platform during the challenge.
Individual courses, workshops, and programs will then be added to the new platform in the coming weeks, and we expect everything to be in the new platform by the end of October.
Not all at once.
Your individual courses, workshops, and programs will then be added to the new platform in the coming weeks, and we expect everything to be in the new platform by the end of October. Because our current platform is built on very old technology, carefully moving everything across takes time, and we would rather do it smoothly than rush it and risk disrupting your learning experience. Nothing becomes unavailable in the meantime, because your current platform stays open the entire time.
No. Your current platform stays open and continues to work exactly as it does today. Nothing is being removed. The new platform is additional access, not a replacement you are being forced onto. Over time we expect you will prefer the new platform, but the choice and the timing are yours.
Our current platform is built on very old technology. It is slow for us to work with, and it severely limits what we can add or improve for you. Every time we want to build something new, it takes our team an enormous amount of effort, and some things simply are not possible on the old system at all.
The new platform solves that. It is modern, faster, and much easier to navigate. Most importantly, it is a foundation we can actually build on, which means we can create better courses, better tools, and new experiences for you going forward.
It also brings things together that used to be scattered. You get one place for all of your upcoming live events, and a real community space where you can connect and practice with other students. Your courses are easier to find and move through, and the whole experience is smoother and more modern.
A faster and cleaner experience that is easier to navigate, one place to see all of your upcoming live events, and a genuine community space to connect with other students. We are also adding new bonuses, starting with the Mental Health Kit described below.
You'll log in with the same email and password you already use for your classes. Your login carries over, so there is nothing new to set up. If you do not remember your password, use the "forgot password" link on the sign-in page to reset it.
Yes. You can download the Holden QiGong app from the Apple App Store or Google Play and sign in with the same details. This lets you practice from your phone or tablet wherever you are.
No. Your access turns on automatically starting Wednesday, September 23rd. You will receive an email with your sign-in details and a link to get started.
No. Your subscription price and billing stay exactly the same. The new platform, the community space, and the new bonuses are all included.
Your individual courses, workshops, and programs will be added to the new platform in the coming weeks, and we expect everything to be there by the end of October. Your current platform stays open the entire time, so nothing is ever out of reach.
